CANADENT COURSE AGREEMENT – TERMS AND CONDITIONS

1. COURSE FEE

  1. The Student shall pay the Course Fee to Canadent upon signing this Agreement.
  2. Canadent course credits are non-refundable, non-transferable, and expire after six (6) months.
  3. When a Student is eligible for multiple discounts or offers, only one discount or offer (the highest in value) will be applied to the Course Fee.

2. APPLICATION AND REGISTRATION PROCESS

  1. Upon signing this Agreement and completing the registration form, the Student’s application for enrollment in the Course will be deemed submitted (the “Enrollment Application”).
  2. Canadent will review the Enrollment Application and may interview the Student to determine eligibility.
  3. If Canadent does not accept the Enrollment Application, in its sole discretion, Canadent will communicate the rejection to the Student within three (3) weeks of submission of the Application.
  4. The Student will be deemed successfully enrolled in the Course if Canadent does not communicate rejection within three (3) weeks of submission of the Enrollment Application.

3. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICES

  1. In exchange for payment of the Course Fee, the Student will be enrolled in the Course and gain access to all sessions offered as outlined in the Course outline.
  2. The Student acknowledges that timing within sessions will be managed by the instructor and allocated to groups and/or individuals at the instructor’s discretion.
  3. The Student understands that answers, materials, and presentations provided by instructors are based on the latest textbooks and references; however, it is the Student’s responsibility to ensure these materials meet their individual needs and remain up to date.
  4. The Student acknowledges that exam results cannot be guaranteed by Canadent and that the program is intended only to help improve knowledge and clinical skills and does not guarantee admission to any dental school.

4. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY

  1. Canadent will make reasonable efforts to offer Courses at the scheduled times and with predetermined instructors. Canadent reserves the right to adjust timelines, instructors, number of sessions, or cancel sessions or Courses at its reasonable discretion (“Cancellation by Canadent”).
  2. If Canadent cancels any sessions or the Course in its entirety, Canadent will provide written notice to the Student and reimburse the Student for the cancelled sessions. No additional compensation will be provided.
  3. A Student intending to cancel or withdraw from the Course must provide written notice (“Cancellation by Student”).
  4. The notice must be signed, dated, and include the Student’s expected last date of attendance.
  5. In the event of a Cancellation by Student, no refund will be issued if: the Course has fewer than eight (8) students enrolled; the Student is on a payment plan; the service is an on-demand service; the service is a scheduled one‑on‑one session; the Course Fee or service arrangement was modified at the Student’s request; or Course content has been printed with the Student’s name.
  6. If the above conditions do not apply, Canadent will deduct a cancellation fee from the Course Fee and refund the remaining balance if applicable. The cancellation fee will be: 25% of the Course Fee if less than three (3) weeks’ notice is provided before the Course start date; 50% of the Course Fee if less than one (1) week’s notice is provided before the Course start date; and 100% of the Course Fee if notice is provided after the Course has started.

5. CONSENT TO ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS

  1. The Student agrees to receive email communications, announcements, and updates related to the Course, other relevant courses, and Canadent services.
  2. Canadent may send such communications for up to twenty‑four (24) months after completion of the Course.
  3. The Student may opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in the email or by requesting removal from Canadent.

6. PROPERTY AND EQUIPMENT DAMAGE AGREEMENT

  1. The Student accepts responsibility for any loss or damage to Canadent property, including equipment and materials on the premises, whether intentional or unintentional.
  2. If Canadent determines that the Student caused damage or loss, the Student must compensate Canadent for restoration or replacement costs.
  3. The Student must immediately report any damage to Canadent.
  4. Equipment may only be removed from Canadent premises with written consent and must be returned in the same condition.
  5. Canadent may terminate this Agreement immediately, without refund, and seek damages if the Student engages in vandalism or intentional destruction of property.

7. CODE OF CONDUCT

  1. The Student must abide by Canadent’s Code of Conduct, which may be updated periodically.
  2. The Student must maintain professionalism, follow instructor directions, avoid recording sessions, avoid disrupting sessions, refrain from advertising or selling during sessions, avoid unauthorized training, and avoid bringing unauthorized individuals onto the premises.
  3. The Student must not defame, harass, threaten, or violate the rights of others, nor publish inappropriate content on Canadent forums.
  4. The Student must immediately report any behavior violating the Code of Conduct or this Agreement.
  5. Violation of the Code of Conduct may result in disciplinary action including immediate termination from the Course without refund.

8. COPYRIGHTS

  1. All course materials are the property of Canadent and are provided solely for personal use related to completion of the Course.
  2. Reproduction, distribution, recording, or transmission of materials without written permission from Canadent Management is strictly prohibited.
  3. The Student receives a limited, revocable, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to use the materials for personal, non‑commercial purposes.
  4. The Student may not create derivative works, reproduce, resell, or allow others to reproduce the materials.

9. BODILY INJURY RELEASE

  1. The Student accepts full responsibility for safety while using equipment and materials during the Course.
  2. The Student confirms they have read classroom safety instructions and possess the knowledge to operate equipment safely.
  3. The Student agrees to follow all safety rules and minimize the risk of injury.
  4. The Student will not use equipment they cannot operate safely and will seek assistance when needed.
  5. The Student releases Canadent and its representatives from liability for injuries, including death, occurring while using equipment or while on Canadent premises.

10. PRIVACY NOTICE

  1. Canadent will use the Student’s personal information to provide services and manage business operations.
  2. The Student grants Canadent permission to use the Student’s name, image, voice, and likeness in photographs, recordings, and audiovisual materials for educational and promotional purposes without compensation.
  3. The Student understands such materials may be edited, published, and distributed globally in educational or promotional contexts.
  4. The Student may withdraw consent for use of personal information in writing, subject to contractual and legal obligations.
  5. Canadent reserves the right to disclose information when required by law or legal process.
